I have a ton of viruses, malware, adware, spyware, trojans, etc. It's blocking me from using task manager and computer settings. I used SuperAntiSpyware Deluxe and Avast! but they're not doing much. Help!

You have one hell of a problem, if Superantispyware does not remove them I use this software and it find what all other miss and also kill them. Avast is very good also, I don't use as I have a purchased antiviurs from Beijing, China.

I would suggest that you try reboot and keep clicking on the key "F8", until you are in a safe mode. The screen will look very strange, but run your antivirus/antispyware in the safe mode and see if this solves your problems with infections. \

I just cleaned out a pc for a friend with over 500 Trojans. I used http://housecall65.trendmicro.com/ Follow the instructions. You will have to download an active "X", that is safe for the on-line scanner to work. Allow the scanner to complete the entire scan of your system. Will find and kill or viruses/spyware when completed. Worked for my friend's PC.

I have used AVG Anti Virus, Zone Alarm Firewall, Spy-bot Search and Destroy and Ad Aware both spyware killers for years. They are all free for personal use and I have had no trouble with Viruses Trojans etc. AVG does not slow the system down as much as some other products and Zone Alarm allows a lot of personal configuration unlike the Windows Firewall. They can all be downloaded from the following link. http://www.computeractive.co.uk/... On the home page select downloads and then the appropriate category.I also use Windows Defender from the Microsoft site. It is safe to use two anti-spy products but never use more than one A/V as it can cause conflicts. You should run A/V and anti spy weekly. Hope this helps

Immediately disconnect it from the net. Then burn docs, pics, music, etc... to a CD/DVD or a flash drive. Then reset it using a reset disc. The reset disc reverts the computer back to the settings of when you got it. If you don't have the disc, still save the files you want, and take it to a computer tech. When your computer is all better, take your saved files and completely scan them with anit-virus/spyware before you put them back on your computer

Assuming you have some real awkward infections and the suggestions above failed to totally clean your system I suggest you download a Smitfraud removal program from:
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/desktop_software/desktop_security/smitfraudfix.cfm
Again if possible run in Safe Mode.

It sounds like you need to reformat the harddrive and start over. Thats the only way to get rid of viruses if you have loads of them. If you have system you could do that instead if you have it.

do not understand what risk-free practices utility you have yet i'd propose the two changing it or going into risk-free mode and scanning your stress lower back. if your risk-free practices utility can't restoration your stress in risk-free mode then you definately do could interchange it with an more suitable one. some thing like Kaspersky. It kicks yet.

I recommend you to reinstall your Operating System.
But if you don't want to, you can use several software to clean your computer. Try to use CCleaner, it clears useless files, repaires bad registries. http://www.ccleaner.com/
I also recommend you to use Spybot, - http://www.spybot.com/en/index.html, and Ad-Aware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware, they are malware, spyware and adware removal tools.
