We've been married for nearly four years, and it seems we've already ran out of things to give each other. He's really into technology type stuff as well as music; I'm looking for something in the $100 range. We have small gifts for eachother, but I need that larger "main" present. Help!

How about a "Techy" shopping trip? Give him a card and offer to go shopping with him, with no complaints, to the tech store of his choice, and buy something that he'll really like. Then go to dinner, and go home and try it out...or...well, whatever.

Every gift doesn't have to be a major production. Go to a technology/computer store or a website with lots of gadgets and check out what they have. For example; if he likes digital cameras get some good photoshop software for him, and a new camera case.
If you just have no ideas tell him that you should both agree to post a list on a bulletin board in the house, each time you think of something you want/need write it down. Do this all year long. If you purchase the item yourself, cross off from the list. Then both of you can check the list to see what to get each other. If what you would really like is a walk in the park and a picnic, write that down to, maybe it will give him some ideas also.

not all people are gifted to do most things right. i have been labeled the clumsiestt of all clumsies. I could destroy an innocent blind just by pulling the wrong string. or tipped the cans piled neatly in a store by getting the wrong ones. seriously, it is more frustrating to me than to others. i laugh with them yes but it is not a very pleasant feeling inside. you see, your husband needs help and you're not helping by putting in the spot where he cant do his best. focus on where he can be good at and let him do it. both ways, you'll not have a bad day and he'll not feel like he's a total idiot. if you can do it for him? then why not. am sure there are things he does where you're not good at also. and you don't want to responsible for messing it up just because you cant get it right.
