Yes, I was hypnotized a few times by my therapist, and after each of those times I remember what it was that was discussed with the therapist. Hypnosis just makes it easier for the feelings and the memories to come to the forefront. You do not do any thing that you won't do when you're not hypnotized. All of that making people act like animals and other nonsense is just that nonsense.

Hello HugMe

Yes you can remember it all, depending on the level of hypnosis reached. Hypnosis is a heightened state of awareness, you can feel very alert.

But there are many levels of hypnosis & it is common to drift between them in session.

The important thing is that the subcosncoious mind will remember it all & a subconscious command from the therapist will enable you to remember it all.

I have been hypnotized a couple of times, and i can tell you from experience, sometimes you can remember everything, sometimes you just remember snippets of it, sometimes nothing.
The only time you have any control over it is if you're given a suggestion to remember the entire session, sections of your session or forget the entire thing.

If a person has been in very deep trance they may have difficulty remembering some or most of their trance. It is also possible to give "amnesia" suggestions so the person does not remember a portion of the trance. However, many people do remember quite a bit if not all of the trance. I want people to remember their trance experience, so will ask if it OK for me to give them the suggestion they will remember everything, and even if they were in deep trance they will.
