You're at 44 weeks and they haven't induced you yet? Bloody hell, your baby is in no hurry, is it?

Hot water bottle on the back and a massage if you can find willing hands!

As the others have been saying this could possibly be the start of labour but it could also be the joys of full term pregnancy. An early sign of labour for some women is back ache so make sure you are all prepared, just in case. Meantime take some Paracetamol for heaven's sake! (That's what the midwives will tell you anyhow). There's no need to suffer with the pain. Good luck!

I know what you are going through! My son used to stick his appendages into my spine alot towards the end!

You should be more than ready to have your baby by now, or look forward to having a c-section (my son was too lazy to come out naturally too), if you want to try getting jr. off your back, get on all fours and crawl around like that for a few minutes. He'll/She'll succumb to the effects of gravity.

It'll shift when baby comes. I'm pretty sure this is the start of your labour. Go get a bath and then keep on your feet. Gravity is what you need right now.

At 40 weeks it's not surprising your back aches! Have you tried a hot water bottle or a back rub from a helpful person?
Good luck, not long now I hope

I think it's almost time for you... Keep active! Go have sex, keep walking, try doing some squats.

Try bouncing on a yoga/birth ball (carefully)!
