I've noticed darker skinned and haired people can pull off a lot of things that us redheads can't so I am wondering what looks nice and fashionable but a redhead with light skin and blue eyes can pull off. anyone have any suggestions?

Green, grey, dark blue, black, white, pale yellow, brown! Any type of shirts but these colors always work for me!!

Usually Greens, Blues, Grey, White, Black
and sometimes some shades of yelloww
but i would defintelyy stay away from reds and oranges
as for the style of the clothes, you can wear just what everyone else does, you just need to watch the colors

Casual shirts & jeans, in my opinion. For shirts, dark green, dark blue, black. Colors of medium to high contrast to your hair and skin. (No contrast would be like red and light yellow/beige)
I would stay away from light earth tones, like brown, tan, yellow and orange.
Since you're hair is already a vivid color, I would stay away from anything too flashy or over-detailed.
I have a red-headed brother and a red-headed friend (in there 30's) and this is how I've seen them, and they look good.

Brighter colors look best. Pink is my personal favorite on a red head guy. Blue green and maybe grey would aslo work

Im a girl so don't know if this helps, I like wearing grey (seems to go very well with red hair), brown, green and red shades (so nothing too crazy) that go with my hair colour.

i luv redheads! i think green is the color for you, also maybe brown, gray, and blue, not a bright blue, navy blue, thats it.
