10 years for an engagment...Ok...Huh... 10 years,...what's the point of getting married then? That shows that you dont want to get married..10years. YOU HAVE got to be kidding me. The normal and average lenght for an engagment is 1-2 years. your fiance prob having doubts beause 10 years...there is no point to getting married and it's showing that it's not going to happen.
If you dont know if your relationship is going to work in a year or two then your waisting your time

Puh-leeze. I know this isn't a serious question. It can't be. It's too freakin ludicrous. A 10 year engagement??
You don't want to marry her. If you did you would've expect her to be okay with something so stupid and selfish. Just break with her so she can find someone without commitment issues. Because you aren't ready to be a husband to her or anyone else.
I wish you could see my right now. I am holding up a big L just for you.

What is the point of even getting engaged if you are going to wait 10 years?
I think you have some commitment issues if that is really how long you want to wait.

1-3 years is ok, but 10 is a little long... If you are in love, get married.
I married my wife after a 2 month engagement, I wouldnt change a thing.

It would appear from "the outside" that you aren't "making sure things are right" you are more interested in "making sure something better doesn't come along."
Its a commitment issue or at least sounds like one to me.
If I were engaged and my fiance said "honey, why dont we wait 10 years to make sure things are right with one antoher" I would ask "why did I propose int he first place if I wasn't sure?"
So I ask you, why did you propose if you weren't sure things were right with one another? Are you not sure? Are you worried someone else in her life was getting too close?

Why get engaged if you are going to wait 10 years. I think this is a joke but I thought I would answer this question anyhow.

UMM.. yeah.. 10 years is a bit much.. you are making your fiance feel like she will never get married, and obviously that is important to her. c'mon, give your girl a break!

If you want to be engaged for 10 years then you really have no interest in getting married. Oh wait, unless you're 16ish. Are you 16ish? Seriously, grow up and figure out what you want.
