I had a litre of water before bed last night, it's always worked in the past but I still feel nauseous...I'm just doomed!

Drink all the water you can hold down. Hangovers are mostly extreme dehydration. Chase a glass with 4 aspirin. Most aspirins are half caffeine, and that's a good thing. Caffeine dilates the blood vessels, and helps relieve the pressure on your poor sweet noggin.

Shouldn't last more than a day. Best was to get over a hang over is to not drink in the first place! LOL But if you are anything like me...drinking is fun and I can deal with the hangover. Ice water and aspirin and pleanty of sleep the next morning is the best hangover cure that I've found. A lot of people say to drink a beer or smoke a bowl when u wake up..but I think I can't even smell beer when I've been drinking the night before and I don't smoke pot, so well yea!

The answer I would normally give is "start drinking." The thing I use most often to get over the hangover is:

You must be over 14 and not suffering from any flu-like symptoms to use this remedy. If you are 14 or younger, then you should not be drinking in the first place, BUT

ALKA-SELTZER to the rescue. 4 tablets. Works like a charm.

I found the best thing for me has been to drink some Brioschi Antacid before going to bed and then some more when I woke up in the morning.

The sodium content in the Brioscih helps you stay hydrated, which is a major issue in preventing bad hangovers. Taking it again in the am, maintained the hydration and helps with any nausea you might have.

In order to neutralize a hangover it's sufficient to rub half lemon under every armpit.
But the spin sense is important: if you are in the northern hemisphere the lemons have to be rubbed in clockwise sense, while in the southern hemisphere they have to be rubbed in anti-clockwise sense

Or, if you want, you can use "Papilion's style".
lots of fresh home made orange juice (usually 3 oranges and 1 lemon) then a nice long shower and then lots of sex :-)

24 hours- a pop from McDonalds with the carbonation and 2 Excedrin Migraines- will make it tons better- and get some greasy food- it really used to help when I used to drink!

if you really have a serious hang over, you're in it for the long haul, no matter what you do... take a few vicoden, try to knock yourself out for the duration... drink as much water as you can, don't eat anything unless you are sure you aren't going to puke immediately afterwards

a hangover should last one to two days otherwise you would have waisted your money ;) to get rid of it: water and aspirin before you go to bed, more water, good breakfast and back to bed

If you stay drunk you never have to worry about a hang over.
You might not move a lot or get anything except throwing up done but you won't have a hang over.
