I had a storm window break and threw away the whole thing by mistake. Is there a place that can make one for me (the glass and the frame) it would need to be custom made since it has to slide into the existing track that is behind my window.
I know my other option is to have the entire storm window but don't want to do that if I don't have to. I already went in Home Depot and they said they don't make custom storm windows. Thanks.

Before you hit the "custom" shops...check the local salvage yards. I don't know where you are but we used to live in Milwaukee and they had a door and window company that stocked THOUSANDS of old doors and windows (including storm windows). You could save yourself a lot of money.

A company called Alcoa is one, also better known companies like Andrson Window, Pella and ones like that will make them for you as a special order but you pay much more...

Call your local glass company, they usually have somebody in their index for just that purpose. You're not the first one and you won't be the last.
