I dated this guy that was so much fun. He was very spontaneous and we always had a great time together. He never liked to sit still and we always had adventures. Then he would start disappearing at odd hours and not returning back for hours, and I finally discovered that he was a dealer as well as a user. Wasn't my cup of tea, but I pretended like I didn't know for a while, until it became worse and more obvious, and then I knew I had to get out. I couldn't possible get anymore involved with someone who picked drugs over me!

Well, I've had my fair share of bad boyfriends--unfortunately it does include the "Drug dealer." I hadn't known what he was doing but that he was a pharm tech. HAH! Technically he was, and when I found out what he was doing, it ended badly. He actually forced me to change jobs and apartment. I had to take out a restraining order on him and have the distance changed twice before I had enough of it and pressed charges, whenever the police became involved after he broke into my mom's house, they found enough heroine and cocaine on him to lock him up for 18 years. I visited him the first time in two years during Christmas to apologize and I think he repented. He seemed sorry, but there's always that doubt in my mind of it being an act. So no, I would never date another drug dealer again!

Well, yes. He was not flashy and I didn't realize he was dealing coke until I was out of the picture. He was very sadistic and drugged me- I woke up with my contacts curling out of my eyes and didn't know where I was. Other than that he and I NEVER did recreational drugs and only drank occasional wine. He went on to be a very successful business man and married someone else.
In case you believe that just because you date a drug dealer but don't use you are safe- News flash- if you are in the presence you can be held liable and the people he associates with don't care if you are in the way and he has done something they didn't like.

Yes, and he was a lot of fun and a good guy, except for that. He was smart, spontaneous, a real people person, free with money and time.
I was also dating a narcotics officer at the same time. He wasn't nearly as much fun, and was one of the more uptight people I've ever gone out with.

I'm dating one...
It really has nothing to do with me, and I don't play a role in the whole thing..
I'm a smart girl.. I don't drink, nor do drugs.. It doesn't effect me. I've never helped him sell.. and never witnessed anything out of the ordinary.. Its normal around here.. Its New Jersey! What do you expect?

That's very sexist, assuming only men are drug dealers.

He did like to spend extravagantly but mostly we hung out at his house or a hotel..
He had lots of "friends" thankfully that was a very short-lived incident.
I've never been one that is into fast living.
*edit* didn't realize it till after we were dating...
