many of the people answering are wondering if it's ethical having a relationship with a client... i'm a professional escort, but he is now the only client i'm sleeping with.

you need to ask yourself can you let your husband go? which one is easier to say 'goodbye' to... it's as simple as that when it comes down to it, good luck

You refer to the gentleman as your client. I do not know your profession but in many professions it is very unethical to have a client relationship. If you are a licensed professional it could cost your license depending on the profession you are in.
You are apparently trying to tell us you are in love with 2 men now. I really suspect you love one and are infatuated with the other. Before you divorce hubby and hurt your child you might ought to think about this for a long time. Do you really kow this man well enough to just give up everything for him?

Move to Utah and marry them both. lol..just joking after all...that is against the law!!! You really need to decide which person you want to be with. It isn't fair to anyone involved. I think you should tell your husband how you feel about him and this other guy. If he loves you and wants to get counseling then seek it. If not, then the answer is already made for you.

Well you are having a relationship with the other chap. So your husband is right and is intitled to his opions. AND you are his wife and he can be upset. What you need to do is decided where you want to be because it's not fair for this client, it's not fair to your husband and it's especially not fair to your kids. You need to decided quickly what you want and make it happen. Otherwise your going to hurt more people then you intendeded to do.

everyone is already hurt. you, hubby and your client. it's too late to keep people from being hurt. you will have to make a decision. yes, i have been in this situation. you have to decide which man you want. if you want hubby, you have to end it with the client. COMPLETELY. if you want the client, then you have to get a divorce now.
allowing yourself to fall in love with someone else, and having a marriage that is not meeting your needs so that you are open to falling in love with someone else is already a giant problem. heal your marriage or end it. go with the new guy or end it with him. there is heartache no matter which path you take now.

Any relationship with a client in any profession is unprofessional and in most cases, unethical. You claim you've fallen in love with this guy. You think so? Or is it fallen in lust? Big difference you know.

So....better weigh your pros and cons...choose wisely and decide what you stand to gain by entering into this relationship versus what you stand to lose.

"Chap"...goddamn I just love you Brits. You always have a quaint way of expressing one's self, wot?

I'm married and had an emotional and somewhat physical relationship with a married man...If you have a good husband, be good to him. Right now, when you are with the other man you are living in a fantasy world...you need to bring yourself back down to reality.
