How in the heck do you remove the sparks plugs (passenger side) off of a 403 in a 1977 Trans Am with all the A/C equipment in the way. Can someone please tell me how this is done?

The driver's side plugs were easy, but the passenger side is a different story.

Jack the car up on that side and go over the wheel, easy access there. No need to remove hoses or brackets.Jack it up by the frame so the wheel drops down.

Like the above answer advises, Jack the car up, put it on jack stands, remove the right front wheel. You'll need to remove or move the "mud shield" over the A frame to get at these plugs. There's a lot of motor in this car. Use a double platinum plug, this way you won't need to change them as often. I've had the best luck with autolite's on the older V-8's.

nicely, ignoring the effective clown with the sparkometer remark, each physique else has the superb thought.. Spray on a lubricant. WD40 is sweet yet there are extremely penetrating oils that artwork slightly extra desirable (attainable at your hardware or motor vehicle shops). What they neglected grew to become into the sequence. a million) Spray.. 2) Wait (an hour or so) 3) Spray returned and turn the plug (off) if it locks up spray returned and turn the plug (on).. the assumption is to get the oil INTO the threads. 4) save repeating till it the two comes off or you elect that the plug is bypass threaded - this is yet another answer completely. good success.... .

I just LOVE GM. If you can't move the hoses (usually there is a bracket) then you will have to buy swivel tools to get around the problem. On some cars, you may have to loosen a motor mount and jack the engine up to gain access. Good Luck!!!

Look to see if you unbolt the ac compressor mounts if you can move out of the way enough to gain access. Cars are a pain when not designed to be repaired. do NOT disconnect any of the ac lines
