Abercrombie & Fitch.
I'm a 17 year old guy in HIgh School and They make little jokes and stuff.
Like tonight we have a program at our school, and they were like "Are you gonna wear an Abercrombie Suit?" and they laughed.
why would they pick on me about that?
It's wear my mom takes me to get my clothes...
What should I say or do when they make those dumb jokes?
Thanks.

No I get along with everyone else, i'm even kind of quiet and shy.
So no, I dont have the "typical" attitude that some people think i'm suppose to have because i wear Abercrombie.

Everyone has problems. That could be jealousy, problems at home anything. They could be dealing with jealousy the fact that you wear A & F, and that they would like to or cannot or for an entirely different reason. Are these people your friends? If they are, I'd personally be straight out and say they shouldn't be making fun of you because you wear A & F, and if they have a problem with it they can shut up about it. If they aren't you're friends you don't need to say anything to them, it's not as if you're trying to impress them or prove anything, if you really want to say something you could just go yeah maybe I will, or something like that. You wear Abercrombie, no matter what you wear you shouldn't be judged or made fun of but thats life, it's full of people who do that. Anyway good luck.

That's stupid.
I know that all the guys at my school want stuff from abercrombie and fitch but can't afford it. Ignore them, they're just jealous because they can't afford it either. I know I can only afford the clearance at A&F and I'm a girl!
You shouldn't wear just abercrombie all the time if you're a guy. It's kinda weird. Wear it once in a while, or once every week. On other days of the week, wear more AE or hollister or aero if you want to. Try not to overdo the abercrombie, because seriously, abercrombie is a kind of a girl thing (well, at least until high school or 8th grade), you don't want guys calling you gay or anything. Just ignore those boys. A lot of girls at my school like guys who wear abercrombie.

Are you kidding me? I wear Abercrombie all the time!! No one picks on me about it. They actually compliment me. Maybe its your personality or maybe you won't stop talking about it. If they make fun of you say "Only hot and rich guys wear Abercrombie". I told that to this kid and now he wont say a word about me wearing Abercrombie. You could also go to Hollister instead.

um u no considering ur 17 id say go shopping without ur mom and pick out what u want to wear not her. got no money to buy clothes without her? get a JOB! and most ppl pick on a&f bc A) its highly overrated B)It highly overpriced and maybe they cant afford so they make fun bc jelousy C) think ur wayyy spoiled. i would say a or c. i definitaly doubt b. o btw one person said that she would say be jealous bc u cant afford it. yea dont say that ppl will label u a definate snob FOR LIFE (not that im for that, i dont like labels but theyr there and no one can stop them)
some one else said be differnt and dare to speak. yea wearing brandy clothes like a&f is not DIFFERENT at all, its basically an oximoron. a&f clones daring to be different by wearing a&f. doesnt make much sense does it? although im all for her idea, just doesnt really work for this particular situation.

People pick on those people who are different. They pick on you because you wear A&F, and because they don't.
What to say? Say nothing. Laugh light and short. Then change the subject. The sooner these jokes have little effect on you the sooner they will stop.

Id roll my eyes, or say "Be jealose that you cant afford osm clothes like this." Just dont listen, maybe tell your mom to bring you to Hollister, Aeropostal, or American Eagle. Same styles, different clothing :). Dont change because people are making jokes about you.

SOunds like they are jealous. It is a very popular store, even for men and girls out of high school. My daughter is in college and she shops there as do most of her friends. Ignore these arrogant children. Dress like you want to. Be glad mom doesn't take you to good will to shop.
Kids are mean and stupid and weird. what can i tell you.

I doubt your clothes are the real problem. Take a closer look at your personality.

I don't know what's worse....that you shop at A&F, or that your MOTHER "takes you there to get clothes"....
