I just saw a headline on Yahoo that said Pamala Anderson has just filed for divorce. She, Johnny Carson, and Elizabeth Taylor they're all up there in the divorce category aren't they? Does anyone know who has been divorced the most - celebraty or not?

I have an uncle who has either been married to or lived under common law marriage to (we think) 9, although he won't talk about it. Fortunately he's only had 2 kids through all of this.
Not trying to out do, just wondering.

Mickey Rooney has been married 8 times and so has Liz Taylor. My sister in law has been at least 6 times and I am pretty sure she is just going for a record. The ink was barely dry on her last divorce before she was marrying the next guy (apparently a pattern of hers). She even forbade us to mention her marital marathon to her current husband. He didn't know of her multiple marital bliss.
