My hometown (pop 450) just sold every house that was for sale and we have some new families moving in. M grandpa bought a house a year ago for $3000 and sold it for $6000. It's about 300 miles from the nearest city and in Saskatchewan, Canada, so the pricing is quite different.

The reason people are buying houses is because Alberta (the next province on the West) had a big oil boom and all the property values skyrocketed. People figured out that if they sell their $3 million place there and move here they can retire pretty comfortably.

Wow, is that list not accurate.

That was interesting, because some houses listed as foreclosures have been sold, and sold some time ago.

My town isn't doing too bad, there were only 94 listed, and I'd say about 25% of them are wrong.

We're actually not doing too badly, just 7 foreclosures in a town of around 5,000. I suppose that's because so many people here are elderly and paid their homes off in the 50's.

Well, we've got 2 pages of foreclosures, and itisn' over yet, just had 2 more factories move out, and that = 1200 displaced workers!!! This will get worse as time goes on, and I'm not staying around to aurn out the lites!!!!
