I have traveled a lot. In Europe I only like London. London is great (great shopping & very cosmopolitan). In the US, I prefer NYC. It is the large, American version of London.
LA is cool too because of the ocean & the great weather.
But recentely I am into Dubai. There are several reasons for this. A year ago my father suggested that I could move there & I could run his business from there. At that time, I brushed it off. But I am interested again & might take the offer. I like Dubai cause I like warm weather, it is close to home & I could live free (western style which is very important to me). It is an hour flight to Tehran & the business is booming.
Another reason which also plays a part in the equation (& actually shouldn't) is that my ex lives close (I can't let go of him just yet)
So the answer to your question is Dubai.

Stuttgart, Germany, Beautiful city, centrally located, friendly people, close to transportation
centers, Good Food and Excellent Beer, and I have been there before while stationed with the US Army!

Budapest, Hungary.I have already got a small place there for retirement.Can't retire in the states, too expensive.I don't have to leave the states but don't wish to work in my senior years.

Italy, my dad was from parlermo sicilly, i'd be able to relate to the culture and feel comfortable because of my upbringing
