I will attend a wedding in (late) January. The actual ceremony is at 1 in the afternoon and the reception is at 5 in the evening.
I'm thinking I will need two outfits for this, right?
I know the basics: don't wear black and don't wear white (at least to the wedding)....
Anyone have suggestions?
BTW- I live in Ohio and it will be super cold and possibly snowy (if that helps narrow down your suggestions.....no turtlenecks please. lol).
Thanks!

It depends on if it completes the dress or obscures it. If it does nothing for the outfit, don't use it at the alter. I could see a pashmina wrap used in place of a veil with the right dress. I once saw a wedding dress with a small fake ermine stole (collar?). She carried a muff too and her bridal flowers draped over it. It was different and very pretty.

Suitable atire is best left to the lady lol...but in the state of Ohio a nice overcoat for the occasion is a must. Wool and and a dark gray if you can manage.
