2. The Russian people overthrew the Tzar's Government. This eventually led to a small civil war and the rise to power of the Communists.
Its important because it caused the early withdrawal of Russia from World War I and eventually the Cold War.

3. The collapse of the American stock market took the economies of the Western world down with it. Since everyone owed everyone else money, the Americans had been sustaining the system. When the American economy took a dive, everyone else was pulled down. In this period some nations began looking at a Fascist government in order to keep back the specter of Communism.
This is what led, in many ways, to World War II.

4. Axis v. Allied powers, for a good portion of the world.
It set many of the key alliances and nations for the rest of the century.
