i have had my expedition for a year and i have remote start on it and both winters when its cold out and it sits for a while i do my remote start and will not start it cranks over but doesnt catch. i have to go out there and push the gas pedal myself for it to start.it only does it when it sits for like more than 8 hours in cold weather .could this be the idle control valve or something like it please help me

Had a tune up lately? Could be fuel pressure, dirty injectors, if no engine light is lit. If check engine light is on go get it scanned and repaired.

check your fuel pressure if ok check the rest of the fuel system injectors also check your throttle position sensor....
