You're trying to analyse Pirates of the Carribean??? ... Dude .. it's just a movie ... no plot ...thin storyline ... lame dialogue ... but it was a whole heap of fun ... Depp-Rush and Co. obviously had a lot of fun making it (and a healthy paycheck wouldn't have hurt either)... would love to see some out-takes ... Enjoy it for what it was ... Its about the pirates fighting for their freedom from the overbaring power of the British and the EITC. It was a great movie, much better than the 2nd.

Pirates of the Caribbean At Worlds end:
The third movie has ALOT going on. The Chinese Pirate Lord, Sao Feng, holds the map of how to get to Davy Jones Locker, which is the place that people go who get eaten by the Kraken. Barbossa and Elizabeth pay a visit to sao feng, who discovers they are traitors when he reveals that Will Turner attempted to steal the maps before they arrived. A fight breaks out, but when port royal soldiers arrive, both pirate sides stick together. Sao Feng ends up giving them a ship and a crew in order to rescue Jack, but ONLY because it is necessary that Jack be present at the "meeting of the Brethren court", a gathering of the 9 pirate Lords. Lord Becket, of the East India Trading Company has the heart of Davy Jones, and takes control of the Flying Dutchman. Barbossa leads his ship off the edge of a huge waterfall, ending up in Davy Jones Locker. They retrieve Jack, but he and Barbossa argue over who is captain of the Black Pearl. Through a series of wild schemes, they end up back in the real world. They reach an island in search of fresh water, and Will takes over the ship, in hopes of capturing the Flying Dutchman and stabbing Davy Jones' heart in order to free his father. But then Sao Feng and his sailors arrive, as well as Lord Becket, Port Royal takes over the black pearl, and Sao Feng takes elizabeth hostage. Sao Feng dies in elizabeths presence, and names her Captain of his ship. However, the Flying Dutchman takes everyone on board hostage. commodor Norrington choses to join elizabeths side of this battle, releasing her and her crew from the brig, but resulting in his own unfortunate death. It is revealed that Tia Dalma is a Goddess, and that she is the one that Davy Jones Loves. The meeting of the Brethren court takes place, where Elizabeth is named Pirate Lord, and is put in charge. A huge battle takes place between the dutchman and the pearl, Davy Jones kills Will, but Jack assists Will in stabbing Davy Jones' heart with his last breath, killing Davy Jones, so Will not only lives, but is bound to be the captain of the flying dutchaman. He and Elizabeth were married on deck by Barbossa during the previous battle however. The east india trading company is defeated. And the story ends with Jack being abandoned in tortuga with a little dingy, and Will and Elizabeth have a son, but Will is captain of the Dutchman, and must remain at sea the majority of his life. Perhaps the story will continue, but there are no definate plans.

PotC 2 and 3 make as much sense as trying to superglue a peeled banana back together.

Well I've seen all 3 of them and my favorite was the 3rd. It's funny though for the life of me I really can't explain what it is about.
