Being that my siblings are all military along with my husband. We dont get to spend christmas with them. Its usually just my husband, me, and our two kids. But we open gifts, the kids play all day and have a big dinner at home. Except this year we decided to fly in my husbands mom from Hawaii since she hasnt seen the kids in 2 years. So it's going to be excited and a good christmas

Get drunk & fall into the Christmas tree!
That was a joke. We used to decorate the Christmas tree on Christmaas eve & open one present, then go to church back when I believed in that sort of thing.

When I was little we were only allowed to open one present on Christmas eve and that was always pj's. I have passed that along to my son and hopefully one day he will do it with his kids. I always enjoyed it.
