For all you Romo/Brady fans who think your QB is gods greatest gift to the NFL, tell me what record your QB has broken?

I just get mighty sick of all of the narrow minded Brady Romo fans so I figured I'd throw this question out there and see what they had to say. To compare Favre to QB's who have earned being considered a great is wonderful, but I can't see saying that a player who is having a great season and has not yet proven much is a "great" and is better then a veteran who has earned their titles...

FYI Coxer, favre holds all time wins by a starter... So who is ignorant now...? I never said that he is the greatest to ever play and that he blows the competition out... that would be ignorant... I just find it funny how all the Brady and Romo fans think somehow those two QBs have earned the right to be spoken in the same sentences of the real greats... if they get to the point where they have deserved it fine, but I really don't see either of them being worthy of being mentioned in the same breath as players such as Favre,Elway, Marino, Montana...

John Unitas' 47-game streak with at least one TD pass. I don't think that record's ever been seriously threatened.
Calling out Tom Brady fans isn't wise...I'm sure Favre would trade a lot of his records for Brady's 3 championships.

I am a lifelong Packer fan, ok? Favre himself says that he does not consider himself to be in the same class as Marino.
How about Bart Starr's (Packers) 214 straight completions without an interception, or Terry Bradshaw's four Super Bowls?(Steelers)
I love the Pack, I love Favre, but many of his records are the result of his incredible toughness, an area in which few quarterbacks could compete---except Archie Manning (father of Peyton and Eli) and Bart Starr. (and maybe Steve Grogan) They played 14-game seasons. Walter Payton would have left Emmitt Smith in the dust had he played 16-game seasons with better teams. Favre does not even hold the single-season record for most pass yards by a Green Bay Packer---that'd be Lynn Dickey, and I remember that season, his awesome receivers in Lofton and Jefferson, the tight end Coffman... Favre might break that this year, but he'll have two extra games to do it.
Would I trade favre for Romo? NO. Brady? uh, no, but I'd think about it. Peyton Manning? Yes. Favre himself has predicted that Manning will break ALL of his records.
Hey, don't hate, ok? I've probably been a Packer fan since before you were born, and I remember the first two Super Bowls that the Packers won, in '66 and '67. I lived in Milwaukee at the time. Favre is special---but he ain't God, and there's one of his records that no one will EVER break...the INT. record will be Brett's forever. George Blanda had to play til he was 45 to set that one...Favre broke it this year.
Brett Favre has one record that may never be broken in football. He is better than anyone ever was at making a stadium full of people say, "Oh My God!' Sometimes its OMG I can't believe he took that hit and got up! Other times its OMG how did he get that pass in there? And sometimes it's OMG I can't believe he threw that one---what was he thinking?

He won't break ALL records, he cant touch the Super Bowl QB record, he can't get close to the single season records (who thinks he can throw for +45 TD anytime soon???) He will break most of the QB career records. Like Bonds he will hang around till he does. If he didn't get them this year he would be here again next year and so on. So yeah he will get them. If Payton stays healthy he will get them by the time he is done. And by that time there will be another player that is up and coming who will will all say will get the record by the time he retires.

there's only one brett favre, no doubt. BUT that doesnt mean there arent other great QB's around. will they ever have the career or be as enduring a figure as favre is and has had? nope. he's one of a kind and unique.
johnny unitas, roger staubach, dan marino, john elway, brett favre and others are all great and had unique talents that make them special. some of this new crop will reach those heights as well and be considered all time greats.

Wait until Romo and Brady have been playing for 145 years like Favre...
Play long enough you will beat most career records...

Being sacked the most times in a single season. That honor bleongs to David Carr, infact he has been sacked the most in a single season breaking a record he set the year before.

The quarterbacks job isn't to set records. It's to win the game.
You play to win the game. Not to break records. What does Tom Brady do? Win games. Don't get me wrong, I love Brett Favre. You're just ignorant.
How do I get three thumbs down for stating that players should want to win the game and not just play for records?

Tell me if they have been playing as many years.
You were probably saying the same thing about Farve early in his career that people are saying about Brady.
It was ok for you because you like Farve.
