Do you think people are just picking on them and that they are really upstanding people? Forgive the generalization. Please elaborate a bit.

I don't trust people in the Government as far as I can spit. Washington DC has a way of corrupting even the decent people in politics. A decent person doesn't stand a chance in Washington.

I don't think that anyone trusts the government completely. Government is neither Noble or free from corruption.

The founders KNEW that government does not so much corrupt, as attract those who are corrupt to begin with!

That is why the Constitution is so vital, and the checks and balances between branches of government.

I don't trust them at all. I see no evidence of nobility whatsoever. I no longer feel that this is a 'government for the people, by the people'. Leave my damned constitutional rights alone, defend our borders, the list is endless.
