My Wife got an answer today saying her Mother was Ugly(My Mother in Law Died in March)

I've not insulted anyone on here and I most certainly would never be so cruel to say something so nasty about Chrissy's mom, I know how much she is hurting.

I noticed that most people who hurl insults are kids (11-15). Being kids they are bound to be rude, think they are smart and cool (in fact, shows how much education they still need / they currently lack).
There are only a few adult who do that (well, i wouldn't call them adults them being cowards and all) and most likely they are the losers... people who don't have a social life, don't have a love life and spends their time watching paint dry.
Most decent people will answer promptly although some people do have a weird sense of humor (they think they are funny) while some don't know what they are talking about. Some didn't understand the question and others whose not very good in English gave some weird answer which only they can understand.
Basically people are different. We can't get rid of the weird, annoying, creepy and stupid ones so Yahoo! invented the "Block User" command. Although i would prefer Yahoo! to remove that account, they refused so we have to settle for the 2nd best option.
However, don't give up. I believe Yahoo! Answers is a great place to ask and learn. It is a community so don't let a couple of bad apples (a few over ripened oranges, dozen bruised bananas) have you throw out the whole basket.

You should try and get the answer or question back up and report it. The majority of people on here sign up are on the site to help people not to insult them. People can be very ignorant sometimes and the best way to deal with it is to ignore it as they will most likely take pleasure in reading things that they have said.

I believe that some people are angry inside and don't know how to constructively express that anger.
If people realized the effect they have on others, and really had a chance to see the sadness caused I believe they might stop.

some people come on here exclusivly to be rude and arrogant because they dont really have a proper life . Insulting people on here make them BIG in the cyber world .

Because they have nothing better to do, unfortunately when you put a mix of people together you will always get some who have a real wicked streak. Ignore em and enjoy the more positive answers. Sorry for your loss, I hope you have a good christmas and a better new year x

please tell your wife to try not to get too upset , i know its hard as i my self had a miscarriage on 22/11/07 and asked for some advice as to where i could look on the net for advice to why this sort of thing happens and how to best cope with there was some real idiots on here sating really hurtful things such as it happened cos your body and baby were obviously just f****ed up. in fact i haven't been on here for a couple of weeks now. but on the other hand there was some really kind and helpful people too. my advice is try not to take to much notice of the horrible people and block them from answering you in future along with reporting them. deepest sympathy to you and your wife, and try and enjoy your Xmas together.

OHHHHH no, Iam so sorry! There r just some people who r down right hateful on Yahoo answers- they r miserable and misery loves company so they drag everyone down with them. Most people I have met on here r really wonderful people. Im sorry she had to see the bad side of Yahoo answers! My condolescenses on her mother. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas

It's just stupid isn't it?
I've had loads of the "Your Mum" jokes thrown my way before. One guy even made a joke about killing my Mum, that's just not nice.
It wouldn't be so bad if they were actually funny, but they're totally lame. If people are going to insult people, they could at least be creative about it.
Try not to let these saddos get you down.

Some people are just mean. I just got an answer in a favorite sport question I posted. This spaz just tole me that he was gonna kill my family and call me a loser. ***** doesn't even know me. But, whatever. Computer insulting is low.
