You are right about money's limited buying powers. But NOTHING comes FREE. The price to be paid is not always in cash or card, but its almost always in the same currency...love for love, loyalty for loyalty, respect for respect, honour for honour, a good deed for another, so on and so forth...
Now, if you are talking about a child's smile, scent of a flower, roar of the ocean, warmth of the sun, shade of tree in scorching heat, rain on your face, wind in your hair, nature's other bounties and such things, please feel free to partake in it...
Edit: Thank You 'Life_is' for the compliment. Feels good to be appreciated...Happy Holidays to you too & all!!!

1. Love can be bought.
2. Friendship can be bought.
3. Loyalty can be bought.
4. Happiness can be bought, though money can also cause misery.
5. A good education can be bought...
Fact is, money can buy most of the best things in life, especially material things...EXCEPT....there is only one thing money cannot buy........
The love of wisdom can only be discovered by man's heart & mind on a case by case basis.
P H I L O S O P H Y ! ! ! - What no man can give nor take away. What no man can buy or sale...being philosophical and the joy of being philosophical.

I agree, yet, disagree. Yes, it is true that money cannot buy the best things in life and what money can buy is man made, but things like love and happiness do not come for free; you always have to earn them, therefore, they are not free.

Good question. Money cannot buy what we are doing one to each other, with or without our mind, by our soul as it is a gift from the above.
Now, I'm thinking that neither something like Param's wisdom and sensibility cannot be bought, but can be felt and touched by an open mind and true soul. Thanks for your sharings, Param.
God bless you all, mostly those free true souls, who always see those free Godly gifts,
Happy Holidays!

Essentially I agree, although I would like to clarify my views as follows....
Money is merely commercial value (and not the real value)... whether for anything man-made or natural..... even man-made stuff may not be possible to buy with money if it is not for sale.
The real value of anything lies in how important its usage is for us... this value can not be measured in money or any other terms.
Lastly, nothing comes free.... there is an obligation for anything we take, whether from mother nature or man-made.... this obligation can be squared off by paying money if it is a commercial deal... otherwise the obligation normally requires us to pay heavily, although not in terms of money.... it is sometimes our freedom curtailed or sacrifice of something else etc. etc.... in that sense nothing is free and we do have to 'pay' heavily for the best things in life through the corresponding obligations and responsibility.

Yes, I agree.
Although...I think many of us have a great need for certain man-made items..."wants" aren't necessarily materially motivated.
I could use some money. If I were Bill Gates every soldier overseas would have a half a million dollars sent to their families immediately.

That is true, but even though these things are free it can take a lot of work, time, effort, and some money to have them. Such as finding your true love, your best friend, etc......

Thank you for your opinion.
Money is a medium of exchange.
Money is utilised for every thing and anything.
So to say that you can purchase except parents.Perhaps this may be an exaggeration.Any way money is what money does.

Oh no: money can't buy them, but most of them are not free. Love from parents may be free, but friendship, trust, respect, self-esteem, gratitude... such things have a price. They must be earned.
