And if Bush doesn't have anything to hide, why would he be fighting to prevent the visitor logs from being released to the public?

(Let me guess... national security?)

I find it disturbing and suspicious and you're right, they try to justify ANYTHING and EVERYTHING in the name of national security.

Have no real problem with that. It would seem whomever would have a problem may either be up to something nefarious; or else just sees it as another Big Brother action. How does it differ from all the sign in books in other government buildings or say in the place I work which supports a government agency? Our log in books are available to the public on request.

National security, my Aunt Fanny's bloomers!

He has something to hide.. he always has something to hide.

Thank God, somebody somewhere is going after this administration a little... now if Congress could just find some guts, a full investigation into all the illegal goings on could happen. Bush and Cheney both need to be charged.. probably with treason, but with lying for sure.

Why is important that only the White House logs be released? Should not all elected representatives have to keep minutes of their meetings and release those to the public? We have the right to know, right? What do they have to hide? Inquiring minds want to know.

The President should not have to disclose everything. There are some things that is for security reasons. That would be like me asking you what type of under garments do you wear? Hypothetical of course. Yes, national security is right.

Always beware of a government that insists everything it does has to be done in secret.

All presidents want to preserve some sense of secrecy. And honestly I think thats ok. He couldn't get the kind of advice he needs to get if every single thing done and said is recorded and analyzed by history. People would be scared to speak their minds.

Btw, you are really cute!!!
