Realistically... I'm a Packers fan and all that I've heard is HATE about the Packers cushy division and how tough the Pats schedule is.

So, I admit I'm not a Pats fan and never will be so I had to see their schedule and my only thoughts are... WHAT TOUGH SCHEDULE!!!! WTF?

Allow me to recap:

Was it beating the lousy Jets TWICE that make them great? Or playing the Dolphins TWICE? Maybe the tough defense and outstanding offense of the BILLS TWICE? It could have been those Bengals? Where are the tough teams?

C'mon, the way I see it, they almost LOST to the Ravens and the Eagles. Then they barely beat the Colts. They beat the Chargers too who SUCKED the 1st 5 games of the season. LT was running for like 35 yards per game.

I give them the fact that they beat down the Cowboys and the Steelers. But other than that...aren't they just doing what they were supposed to do?

I forgot to mention that they sucked yesterday too. :)

I'm not an idiot, I know they're good. The point is that they're not in some badazz conference or have some rediculously hard schedule.

AGAIN:
Doplhins, Bills and Jets Twice each.

I agree!! The Pats are a good team , no question about that but I have been saying it all year long , they are not "the best team ever" and their schedule is weak. I am really really hoping for them to go 16-0 , because then when they lose in the playoffs to Indy or The Jags it will be even sweeter!!

Their weak division and schedule will come back to get them in the end. I can hardly wait! To all you "best team ever people and Pats kool-aid drinkers" , will you kill yourself when they lose in the playoffs??

Well, Well,

Who did the packers lose too the Bears a 5 and 8 team. Who else the Cowboys!! Because we are in different conferences we don't always play the same team. Oh but the eagles were also a team both Packers and Patriots Played. Now what was that score the PACKERS WON BY a crushing 3 points the same that the Patriots won by. However when they played the pack they weren't trying to beat an undefeated team.
The packers didn't play the Colts that would have be an interesting match up. So boast all you want until you have played the teams then we can chat...

The object of the game is to win and they have in fact won all their game thus far something the Packers have not done two times and to an team that has 8 losses.

Yes they are that good. It does not matter too much how you win, if you win and get it done. They have a lot of good players and when they are at their absolute best, nearly impossible to stop. Hey they beat who is on their schedule with the Colts, Steelers, and Cowboys all being division leaders along with San Diego is a pretty good team. They beat the Cowboys in Dallas and Indy at Indy. Yes they almost lost but good teams find a way to win when the chips are down. In pro football there is no such thing as an easy schedule as anyone can beat you on a given day like the Dolphins beating the Ravens yesterday or the Eagles beating the Cowboys. If the Pats roll on and beat everybody in the regular season and the playoffs and beat either a good Dallas or Greenbay team in the Super Bowl, there is no disputing the facts.

The Bills are better than the bears who beat the packers at green bay, so comparitively they are not too bad. The Patriots have played and beaten each division leader in the AFC, and the conference leader in the NFC. Granted Miami and the Jets are not good teams but detriot and the vikings are not much better frankly.

They won, almost losing doesn't count as a loss. BTW The Eagles beat the cowboys who if memory serves beat the Packers.

Apparently they sucked, they even lost to Green Bay and barely beat Chicago. (I'm not sure they're much better now to be honest)

Where the heck you hear the Patriots schedule was tough .
They may play in the worst division .
They have played more quality opponents than Green Bay .
They had 8 games on the schedule that were against teams that made the Play-offs last year
Green Bay had 3

Who has Green Bay's toughest opponent been Dallas how'd that turn out for you . You shouldve never lost to Chicago so don't go puffing your chest because Dallas lost to Philly a far superior team than Chicago . Thinking you have a chance to wrap up home field its not happening

The Patriots played
San Diego at Home
Dallas at Dallas
Indy at Indy
Pittsburgh at Home

Now they have the Red Hot Dolphins coming in this week ( j/k had to throw that in there )

Oh Im a Pats Fan by the way and would love to for New England to meet Green Bay in the Super Bowl have a repeat of SB 31

But Like Pittsburgh they are little over-rated

Maybe the best in the SALARY CAP era, but there is no doubt that against the great teams in history, '78 Steelers, '85 Bears, '89 49ers, '92/'92 Cowboys, they would be left to ponder what the name of the train that was that just ran over them. Like it or not the Salary Cap has reduced the NFL to a shadow of what it once was.
Given the way they have been playing, there is a real possibility that they will lose in the playoffs. Beating the Jets by only 10 pts. The JETS? They should be thankful that the Colts will be missing Dwight Freeney for the rest of the season.

I agree with most of your commentary and would like to add that beating the Steelers does not seem to be a major feat this year as they have lost to the likes of Arizona, Denver and the Jets. Philadelphia should have beaten the Patriots, if not for bad play calling from the coaches at the end of the game, the Jets had them on the ropes for a majority of the game and the Ravens were probably robbed by the officials just like the Raiders were when NE first came to the scene. So to surmise no they are not that good and come playoff time the competition level will stiffen and the Pats will lose! I would say watch out for the Packers, Colts and Jags in that order all playing tremendous ball when it matters.

the Pats... have bested ALL the teams they have faced, so far this season.... ALL not some... not 12 (like the Packers) but, ALL....

Yes.. they beat the Jets and Buffalo 2x each and Dolphins 1x ... (til next Sunday)...

But.. they also beat..... Bengals, Browns, Chargers, Redskins, Cowboys, Colts, Ravens, Eagles, and Steelers....

Browns and Steelers are currently tied for a place in the playoffs...

The Colts, Cowboys and Chargers are all in the Playoffs...

So tell me... out of the 14 teams, the Patriots have played, so far this year... 5 are in the playoffs, or are in contention to be in the playoffs... now tell me.... what kind of "soft" schedule is that supposed to be...

You sound like you are desperately searching for justification, for when your team loses in the playoffs, or when they lose to the Patriots, at Superbowl..... not much confidence in your team, I guess...

Go Patriots 14-0 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, they mugged the Cowboys by 3 touchdowns in their own stadium (the same building where Brett Favre had his worst game of the season and the immortal Aaron Rodgers nearly led your team to victory). The Pats have also scored 523 points, and who cares if they "barely" won some of their games? They're not playing for a BCS title here. Tom Brady is basically playing Tecmo Bowl with the rest of the league at this point. Yes, they are THAT GOOD until someone comes along who can beat them.

you have a good idea saying they have an easy schedule but last time i remember this is the NFL and you have to be the best to be their. So who cares if they beat the dolphins and jets it's how they beat them. They killed teams and thats how the nfl should be played you get millions to play your best not sit on your *** for 1/2 because your team is winning by 35 points. Kill, Kill, Kill that should be every teams motto. Kill your opponent. Look at the celtics they aren't winning by 2 or 3 they are winning by 20. The patriots kill and in the nfl thats what needs to be done.
