2012 is new 2000. And you don't have to be afraid, the mayans never spoke of the end of the world, they just said 2012 is going to be a period of change for the world, which could be either good or bad, I think they said it was ogin to be a good change.

2012 is the end of the current cycle of the Mayan calendar.
The doom and gloom experts would have us believe that it is the coming of the end of time! The dire predictions range from Armageddon to a shifting of the earths poles.
So what is going to happen to the planet on that date?
Well, actually, nothing out of the ordinary in the way of disasters!
What is happening is not of the physical world, but of the spiritual and, in particular, our collective consciousness.
According to the Mayan Calendar December 21, 2012 marks the beginning of a new era in the development of man. It marks a transition from where mankind has a consciousness, to a higher level where mankind is consciousness.

The end of the Mayans Calendar cycle. I don't really understand where all the fear is coming from. The Mayans Calendar, which is not predicting the end of the world in 2012, but the start of a new era on December 21st, 2012. The year 2012 marks the end of the "Great Cycle." When it came to mathematics, time and calendars, the Maya were geniuses. Believing that time repeated itself in cycles.
Why do the Americans prefer to live in fear 24/7? Didn't we already go thru this "the world is coming to an end in 2000?"

no one knows when the world will end, only God. People thought the world was going to end when the comet was suppose to hit, they even thought it was going end in 2000. We will never know until the Lord call us to him.

D: Whats so creepy about it?
Edit: I think something will change, I don't think it's the end, though.
It'll be over when we all die from global warming.

I think maybe you believe to much of what you see on the tube. There are NO facts to back it up.
I my self believe that different religions over the world will eventually destroy us all.
