No way!! In Toronto in back of a clinic or something, they found all the patients medical histories. Also, when the government changed hands years ago {Canada} the new government came in, cleaned out everything. They threw computers, desks, chairs, etc. in huge dumpsters. There was a lot of private info as well. It really is scary how much of our personal info is out there that can be retrieved. They can then steal your identity. One hospital had thrown away hazardous material in an alley. Needles, etc. along with patient records. Don't know if that is government but I think you get the idea. Nothing is safe.
Awesome question.

Interesting. And just how do they plan to enforce that? If it is true that there is such a plan, it is the most lame and ill-conceived I have yet heard. The best crackers don't work for the government, and they don't work for corporations except in day jobs. The best work for free software and there is no way they will be beaten at their own game. Take a gander at the first link and tell me how one defends against such an invisible network. Geeks have been paranoid longer than you have been alive. And connection? It is possible to route masked message packets as Domanin Name Server Requests or Innocent-looking web page requests or even ICMP test messages. Most true geeks have been getting free service at paid stalls all along, if they choose to. Maybe the rest of you will miss some freedoms, but the folk who will continue business as usual are the sort you actually want to watch. Dimwitted does not begin to describe the silliness of the project you elucidate for us. Thanks for the heads-up.

I had never thought about it really, until the recent **** ups! Although I have felt that there is far too much information about us all, floating around, and you're never quite sure who has it. I think the government has far too much power over our personal info judging by what's been going on. Unbelievable! : )

Nope I am pretty damn worried about it, I watched one of these expert computer hackers find info out on someone and they did it within 20 seconds, how scary is that, I am pretty convinced its a set up by the government to have us agree to ID cards if you ask me.

You have got to be kidding. The government is the last bunch of nimrods you would want to have access to your personal info.
