anticlimatic... also there wasn't really a plot to speak of ... there was a virus, his family left, he was the only one not infected, dog dies, tries to kill himself, lady saves him, has cure, lady goes and gives cure to people... I mean what the hell ... that's not enough plot for a movie that length

I absolutely loved it! I think I usually give ''end of the world'' movies a pass when the ending is sorta cheesy and ideal because it can only go 2 ways -- the world ends (depressing) or it doesn't (uplifting and touching), so that's what the ending will be like. I also feel like the movie was taking the perspective of someone close to Will Smith's character (like not venturing beyond the viewpoint of the main character), so I didn't really care that some things were not fully explained. My only complaint is that the movie should have been longer, because even though I liked the ending, it seemed a bit sloppy when Anna and her son came into the picture. If the movie was longer, maybe it would have given the audience more time to understand/accept that whole part of the plot. Otherwise, a 8.5/10!

*SPOILER* The movie had a LOT of plot holes! How the heck did she [Anna] fight off all those vampires and save Dr. Neville in the middle of the night, drive him back to his place and cook breakfast? I would like someone to answer that for me! Thanks!
