Ok, THIS is the FULL question I am wanting to ask, the main one above is NOT the one I am officially asking,...

Question: I live in the UK, and I want to make an official complaint about,.. (NOT to),.. deviantart.com; is there an official body/dept'/association/ombudsman etc, who deals with taking complaints about websites?

If so,.. how do I get in touch with them? Is there a website that is specifically set up for such requirements? Is there a governing body that has power over websites in the USA for site also based in the USA? *I'm assuming the Deviantart.com servers are based in the USA.
Any help would be appreciated; but PLEASE,... PLEASE,.. only respond if you KNOW what you're talking about. Thankyou!!

If you believe they have committed a crime in UK (eg. publishing offensive material etc), contact Met. Police Computer Crime unit (link below).... however (as you guessed) it looks like a US company so there is essentially nothing your can do ...

NB. their Domain Reg. expires early next yr. = if they fail to renew it, maybe you can pinch it off them :-)

It is impossible to accurately answer this question unless you first state precisely what the nature of your complaint is because different bodies deal with different types of complaint.

Also it is no good expecting a precise answer if you are not precise with the question, eg, is it an American site or not? You need to find out and the target your question to members of that country.

They're located in Centennial Colorado. Contact the BBB in Colorado at http://welcome.bbb.org/

Hey there, could you tell us what the problem is with dA you have? You might not be able to report it if it's something silly.
