Yah, I listen to Westwood One while I watch, especially since its my Vikes playin. I can't stand Kornheiser, and I don't even think Jaws was an upgrade over Theisman and I don't know how thats possible because Theisman was the single worst announcer ever.

Simple as this, I can't seem to find a great crew that does any game (college or pros). I think MNF is just as bad as Madden on NBC's sunday night football.
Its tough being a college football fan and have to watch the bcs bowls on fox.
I think we can conclude that there are almost no good commentaries on tv anymore. I can't find any.

Do it all the time. I turn off the sound to the tv and turn on the radio broadcast.. The local announcers are better. MNF and the NFL Network need new announcers definitley. Bring back Dennis Miller.

Compared to the teams of the past few years, I like this one alot more. Remember Theisman? aaaawwwful. Dennis Miller? aaaahhhhhhhkkk At least Kornheiser knows the game and takes digs at Jaws and others that just make stupid comments.
My TV and sound will be on, but I'll probably be doing something else at the same time anyway.

Not me.
There's a lot of people who don't like Kornheiser, but he doesn't wind me up like he does to so many other people it would appear. Frankly I don't see what the problem is.
The MNF crew are a hell of a lot better than Gumbel on NFL Network...now there's someone who is WORTHY of a mute!!!!!!!!

I don't mind the Monday night football crew that much. I'm not too big on Kornheiser and I wish he'd stay focused on the game. I really like Ron Jowarski. I think he's a great colorman and he knows how to break down the plays.

I like the MNF crew.....well jaws anyway. I could do without the Annoying Fox NFL Tandem with Troy Aikman. Cowboys do this great and Cowboys do that great.

That's my plan. Listen to the radio and watch the game. I do the same thing for the Thursday and Saturday night broadcasts on the NFL Network.

Number 1 is correct. Gumble couldn't get a real job so he had to get hired on the NFL network....it's like being put in a "special needs" class in 5th grade because you can't do fractions. NFL network is a joke.
I do think Tony Kornholer...I mean Kornheiser needs to be fired though. And somebody tell me what is the deal with Ron Jawarski's accent. What dialect is he speaking? I almost pine for the days of Madden.
