It is, and it isn't.

If you are a bit overweight, losing weight MAY help decrease your breast size.

HOWEVER, if you are at a decent weight, you won't lose in the breast, and your only option is breast reduction surgery.

Your breasts are NOT all fat. They are fatty AND dense breast tissue.

I tried losing weight and working out, and it did not help at all. I have very dense breasts and had to have a breast reduction (covered 100% by insurance!) to alleviate my pain.

Go get properly sized. 80% of us are in the wrong size bra. Nordstroms, JCPenney, or Sears. NOT victoria secret, as they size incorrectly (speaking from experience here!).

Wear a good supportive bra. If they are affecting your daily activities, a PS might be willing to do surgery on you. Most will say "they won't touch you if you are under the age of 18"... NOT TRUE... I know plenty of girls who do get them and are 14, 15 years old!

I would get a supportive bra after getting correctly sized, and then look into getting a breast reduction in the future.

It is true in the sense that exercise helps you lose weight, and when you lose it, you lose it all over.

But, if you're working on building up chest muscle, well, that might get rid of some of the fat padding, but would build up the muscles behind the breast, so you may even see an increase in size.

At age 13 I would wait it out, honestly. Your body isn't done growing, and while you may think you're oddly shaped now, I'm sure you'll grow into a lovely, well-proportioned woman. While staying fit is important at any age, don't overexercise or starve yourself (for any reason) but especially to try to control the size of your breasts. You could starve other parts of your body that really need good food.

Please don't worry about it. Wait it out until your body is done growing and changing. It's a tough wait, but you'll be alright.

Take it easy ;)

Yes it is true, but why are you unhappy with your cup size? I would KILL to be a 32C. Losing weight in your chest poses the risk of them becoming less perky, and you definitely don't want that. But if you're really sure you want smaller breasts, I'll trade you - you can have my 32B's.

Wait, I change my mind... I actually kind of like them.

yes, because you lose fat you do lose some of your breasts but the fat comes off in more than just your chest. Each person has their own pattern of gaining and losing weight and you may get thinner elsewhere before you lose even half a cup size or it may be the opposite.

im a guy, but i will answer anyway. the answer is yes and no. as you build muscle in your chest, it will build up under the breast and make it seem bigger. but, as you lose weight, the "fat" (not saying you or your boobs are) is lost just as in the waist and thighs. this will make them smaller. it depends on your current complexion. hope i helped!

Breasts are mainly made of fat. When you lose fat, you lose it including in your breast. The less fat in your body the smaller your boobs will become.
