I think it's safe to say that Lions fan more than ever want Matt Millen's head on a silver platter or stuffed and mounted where it can do no more damage.

I simply cannot believe that {all-world former dirtiest player in the NFL} Matt "freaking" Millen has fooled that Ford bunch for this long. He knows not what he does.
Long term dispair starts at the top - Millen must go or you Lions fans will continue to be a Mid-Tier team at best....and the motor city deserves a better product and a winning team in my opinion.

He is the reason the Detroit Lions have been in the sewers for so long. But maybe if he drafts another wide receiver in the top ten (which you just might get) the team will be better.

I'll clear up a couple of misconceptions: The value of the Lions has NOT decreased, despite their troubles. The fanchise value has grown each year since 2000 from 378MM to 870MM in 2007 (not bad for a 5 MM investment !!)
And ticket sales won't convince ford to make changes. only 11% of the franchise value comes from stadium revenue (that includes parking and concessions) so staying away won't hurt Ford's pocketbook hardly at all.
Millen simply HAS to go. Ford wants to win but has no idea how to do it, so he trusts people that tell him what he wants to hear and he is too loyal to those people. Until there is enough public outcry for Millens removal, he won't do anything. Millen being the butt of every joke is not enough, it'll take a full-scale assault by media and public (maybe even the NFL head office) to put enough pressure on him to fire Millen

Ford needs to sell the team to someone who is actually interested in more than yeah I own a team. Fire Millen. Get rid of all the players who don't want to play hard.

It's ownership.....if you are a Lions fan, look no further than their owners. While the Cowboys franchise has been increasing in value, the Lions have been going the other way.
Maybe it's no coincidence, though....after all...look at the Ford Stock Performance last 5 years:

raped? that's a pretty strong word and some vivid imagery. one time this texas politician said if a woman has no alternetive to getting raped, she should just lay back and enjoy it, (thats a true story). of course that was the end of his political career, (and rightfully so). however, maybe that's what the lions should do, just accept it and enjoy the weekly spankings. lol

fire everyone, replace them all with with a bag of footballs as coaches, since the Fords will never care about bringing in good talent as long as they sell out the stadium every game, for which by the way, you can blame the stupid fans for paying for tickets to support a team whose owners are laughing all the way to the bank.
