Our Christmas gift comes in a Christmas card. Every year. My boss who is a Jehovah Witness, simply renames it to a end of the year bonus and accepts it, despite it coming in a Happy Holidays card. One time we had won a Halloween dress up contest, which they did not participate in. But, when the money we won was handed out, another Jehovah Witness asked it was Holiday money. That if it were, he could not accept it, but...if it was called end of the year bonus money, he could. The boss said it can be whatever you want it to be. He then accepted the money. I would say there are two less of the 144,000 going to the big house.

We usually get a bonus on the last Friday before Christmas, too late for shopping so it just pays on my credit card that I loaded up last weekend.

Technically, no. But I am the janitor at a church/preschool, with both of my children enrolled there. The preschool director gave us two months of no tuition (very costly) as a Christmas gift. I was totally floored by that.

In the form of tips, yeah. People always give the bartender's a little extra around this time of year. They're either in a good mood and happy, or so depressed, they don't care.

I work at a non-profit (always have for like 15 years) and this is the only one that gives us bonuses, but it depends on the budget from year to year, and even then it's only $100 but I'LL TAKE IT!
