As your question only asks "Which one makes more sense"?
The answer must be evolution.
Evolution has some evidence to support the 'theory' but at the end of the day that is all it is, a theory.
Creation has what? The old testament!
'In the beginning there was God' Etc etc etc!!
I do not profess to be able to offer 'proof' on evolution, very clever folk have failed to do that, I am a none entity!
Common sense tells me which one makes most sense.

From a logical standpoint, evolution does. From a religious standpoint, creation does. Evolution has been effectively proven, it is only ape-human evolution that is debated, although if you mention the word evolution to a Christian, they'll cross themselves and condemn you to Hell. It is a well-known fact that Darwin faked much of his research, but that does not mean that the rest was not valid. The only thing wrong with the evolutionary theory is that there is a singularity - a point where all known mathematics and scientific theories break down and become meaningless. When a previous Pope came out with the idea (I believe it was in the mid 18 or 1900's), he used that as proof that God existed. Personally, I agree with him. I believe that God caused the Big Bang and set evolution in motion, then gave it a helping hand when it stalled. Of course, if I told any of the people I know, Christians or scientists, they'd call me a blasphemer against God and science, but that's the way the world works.

Evolution. There are way too many creation stories out there for them all to be true. I mean, whose creation story would you validate by teaching? That from the Old Testament? The Hindu version? The Hopi version? We can't really pick one religion over the other, so if we teach a creation story, we'd have to teach them all. What you do in private school is another story.

Much scientific proof for evolution, cannot have modern science without it, nation reject science fall behind other nation. Many creation myths, no prooff for any, much disproof. First Amendment say no state religion, Bible creation not legal in public school. Some men try to disguise Genesis creation add bad science and pseudoscience plus lies.

The evidence for evolution is and has been interpreted from a Philosophical and ideological Bias, The answers given by adherents to Evolution here in R&S is proof of the bias and agenda, Atheism has to have an alternate explanation—other than a Creator—for how the universe and life came into existence.
Darwin once identified himself as a Christian but as a result of some tragedies that took place in his life, he later renounced the Christian faith and the existence of God. Evolution was invented by an atheist.
What is sad is that Christians are falling into this Trap and trying to fit evolution into the Bible (Theistic Evolution) thinking they can make it fit.
Lee Stroble in his video listed below “ The Case for the Creator” stated (5 min. 28 sec into the video) The Case for a Creator

That “There is no way you can Harmonize Neo Darwinism with Christianity, I could never understand Christians who would say “ Well I believe in God yet I believe in Evolution as well” You see Darwin’s idea about the development of life led to his theory that modern science now generally defines as an undirected process completely devoid of any purpose or plan,”. Now how could God direct an undirected process? How could God have purpose in a plan behind a system that has no plan and no purpose? It just does not make sense.
It didn’t make sense to me in 1966 and it doesn’t make sense to me now.
The Apostle Paul wrote to His Son Timothy stating that “ in 2 Timothy 4:3-4 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine, but according to their own desires, [because] they have itching ears, they will heap up for themselves teachers; and they will turn [their] ears away from the truth, and be turned aside to fables.”

Those Christians who believe in evolution have no idea how that effects their theology.

In the eyes of science, evolution because there is evidence to support it. There is no evidence to support creation though. So, to science creation is not a viable answer to how life came to its present point on the planet.

Both...evolution explains the observations seen in nature and Creation answers the ultimate question of origins.

I think there is evidence for creation, but evolution does occur, just not the way Darwin thought it did. I've never seen anything that convinced me of one species completely changing its genetic makeup to another species. This is called macro-evolution, and I don't believe it happens. However, there is micro-evolution, where one species will adapt certain traits without becoming an entirely new species to fit in with its environment better. One need look no further than humanity to see how micro-evolution has affected us. We have many different ethnicities that have developed as a result of the environment of origin where each ethnic group is fun.

Evidence against macro-evolution: the fossil record. There is not a substantial number of fossils that can accurately be labeled as "transition fossils." One book on evolution claimed that marine mammals originated as land based dog like creatures...however, there are to date no transitional fossils for this transformation. And this is true of many species. Darwin himself said in his book "The Origin of the Species" that if the fossil record did not support his findings, then none of his research was valid.

As far as Creation, well there are two strong pieces of evidence that advocate a creative force behind the origin of the universe. One is seen chaotic forces in nature, like a tornado. If a tornado tears through a junkyard, it will not leave a perfectly assembled Boeing 747 jet, even if all the materials are present. If everything happened by chaotic chance, as is commonly argued, then there would not be such an intricate and delicate design to the universe, i.e. the spheroid as a common structure for planets and stars, as well as the elliptical orbital patters of celestial bodies. The presence of logical patterns and repetition of design does not suggest random chance or chaos, but intentional, deliberate design.

Edit: I think either way you are depending on faith. I actually wonder which belief requires more faith. If you believe in evolution and formation of the universe through random chance, you are putting faith in the fact that something comes from nothing, and that matter appears out of chaos and darkness, violating two scientifically proven facts about the universe from the very beginning. Yeah, it does take faith to believe in a Creator God, but it also takes substantial faith to believe that everything came from absolutely nothing. It is a logical fallacy to say there is no evidence for creation, and it is also a logical fallacy to say there is no evidence for evolution. There is substantial evidence for both, but I believe that the evidence for creation is superior to that for evolution. Neither one can be "proven" through the scientific method, because no matter what happened, no human being was there to observe the formation of the universe, no one can trace all the results, and no one can create an effective controlled scientific experiment that can reproduce the real origins of life on earth, let alone the origin of matter and the universe. To say one or the other is "provable" is also a logical fallacy.

Evolution - there's so much evidence for it everywhere.

Creation relies solely upon belief, so there's no way of proving it except by faith.
