Playing for 5+ years(since September of 2002) without one,
I know I will hit soon.

When I get my jackpot, I will tell those casino employees that I'd have to be a moron to keep on playing and that there's no way I'm gonna be stupid to just throw it back in the machines. I'll also tell them I'm gonna have fun with my money, I'm gonna spend it on enjoyable things and save the rest and then tell them that I know they want me to keep playing because they want me to think I'm "lucky" and "on fire", but I will tell them that I know that they know that if I keep playing, I will more than likely lose it all back and that's what they secretly want me to do, but that I'm not that stupid and I will walk away with my money.

I bet they rarely hear a lecture like that from a player, but I'm no ordinary person so I will defintiely tell them all that.

Go for it. The people you are going to be telling this to could care less. They get paid a salary or get tips to live on. They don't get a share of your losses so they are rooting for you to win at least that is what I have found. They couldn't be happier for you. Tell them what you want .. but if you do win you will be a different person.

I hope you do win ... good luck

Haven't you heard the term "The house always wins" ?

There is a reason why casinos make so much money. They have 1,000 people like you who have put in so much money and did not win, for every one guy that comes along and wins a prize.

Imagine this scenario: Every day, I go to the casino and play the dollar slot ten times. I do this over a span of five years and never win anything back. That works out to $3,650 per year and a total of $18,250 (A bit more if you include the extra day for leap years). A lot of money!

So now someone comes along two minutes after I leave and puts in three dollars then suddenly wins $10,000. Great investment, right? Now what if I had played two minutes longer and won that same $10,000. Did I "win" anything? Nope, I'm still down over eight grand.

I may have "paid my dues" and the casino may have benefited from me playing, but they can't turn around and tell you, wow, we made so much money off of you, we decided to rig the game so you will win this time.

Every time you play a slot machine, the odds of winning something are supposed to be exactly the same. Did you know that a $1 slot machine has about a 96% average payout? That means that if you put in $100 worth of dollar chips, you typically would get $96 back. Of course, then you put that $96 back in and you win back $92, and so on...

It is exactly the reason why people play the lottery. You have a better chance of being struck by lightning than winning some of these games, but people still play them.

By the way, do you think you will get struck by lightning soon? I'm sure it's been longer than five years without having been struck, so I guess that means your odds of being struck are increasing, right?

Go for it!
Would love to see you hit that jackpot because those people took so much money from me over the years that I want to see someone else win and enjoy it instead of the big rich Casinos.
Best of Luck to you and never give it back once you won it!

You may be due and no jerk BUT your changes of hitting the megabucks jackpots are exactly the same each and every time you "play." In fact your chances are less than being struck by lightning in the exact same spot twice.

Good luck. I would say, "good for you."
