Everytime you turn on the TV regardless of what is being sold, some girl is running around half-naked. Does it take someone being naked to get you to buy something?

Absolutely not, in fact i find it insulting, yet i have nothing against sex, if i did i wouldn't have 3 kids . . .
But the corperate world is like nature, it waist nothing,
especially when it come's to money, they to have families
to feed and so are only to happy to perpetuate that motto,
" Supply and demand " there more than capable of being
the suppliers, guess who does the demanding? . . .

Sadly, it DOES for a lot of people - and since the "target audience" for MOST ads are Male (White if you REALLY want to get specific), Single, Age 18-35...
I just happen to fall into this group - but will NOT be swayed by a little cleavage ;);););)

Because the media pushes it at all ages every day. They glamorize it and sugar coat it. There are never any examples of the hurt some for through be being jilted. They never talk about VD. They never explain that sex out side of marriage is a sin. Its a live for today generation and that's not right.Too many babies are born to one parent, too many children are raped and too many people lose lope after the one they trusted goes out on them.

I wouldn't buy anything becuase someone was naked advertising it but I might still enjoy the ad, just becuase I am
sexually stimulated does not make me gullible

um i guess sex sells? thts why there are strip clubs. i dont know about everything, but iv never seen a half naked girl selling a blender.

Thumbs up to soulflow - she says it well. To answer your first question, it is because we were made that way - sex is good, natural, fun. Only in America and crazy religious fundamentalist countires is this questioned.
To answer your 2nd question, It helps - before you can sell me something, you have to get my attention, and sex will always get my attention.
Sex is natural, sex is good.

i have heard it is because we are raised to be sexually repressed in America....therefore, we become obsessed with sex...
i don't know...but if American television offends you don't travel...there is much more nudity on television in many parts of Europe...
