yes, the table can hold a great deal of weight, but I advise no sitting or laying or to do "other" stuff on the pool table...

1. you can mess up the level
2. break the slate
3. you can get a nasty rug-burn rolling around on the table!!!!
4.rip the felt.

Depends on the type of pool table. It will ruin the table though and make it unlevel.

Don't do that if you actually like to PLAY POOL on your table.

It depends on the table. We have an older styled Valley table, and have put a Kitty Cat snowmobile and my kid on it. But it will warp or ruin your rails if left for very long.

I am not sure but it will take the weight of a 40 lb. dog jumping up on it. Our dog did this to our neighbors brand new table. Luckily nothing was damaged....

not too much. My dad always yells at me for sitting om my pool table. So I am guessing not too much.
