I would say that you have been "hacked". And your PC is now a "Zombie", for criminals to spam the hell out of corporations until they crash their servers. They they try and demand money to resolve the problem.

Better reinstall your platform, set up a new email account as fast as possible.

Advise your IP, being it is a crime to "SPAM", other people and your IP needs to know that you have been hijacked.

In the future you need to install a good firewall, antivirus, antispyware in your system. And also free software for what is known as "zero day attacks". This software runs in the background and will pop-up in a second if any changes are noted to your registry, memory or files-folders and subsystem. (Kind of like a jump head start on a virus before the virus writers have written a signature for a new virus.

Either somebody knows your email / password or you have a trojan virus with a back door.

You should change your yahoo email account password and you should run a virus scan. Use AVG from Download.com.

Once at Download.com type AVG into the search bar and choose the free version. Update it and run it.
