chester - The iraqi interpreters was sad news.
NAQ - I read the book too, the situation was tragic!
Anthony Spears - To loose a child this way is devastating. I feel bad for these parents too.
elfkin VT - That is horrible and extremely sad. I wish the family strength and courage through this time and remains united none the less.

There was this crazy old bloke near where I live, Mad Barry, we called him (He's dead now)
His wife died years ago, but he couldn't accept it. He used to walk around the streets all day looking for her. He used to ask us "Have you seen my wife anywhere?"
I guess he loved her that much, he just couldn't let go.

All Quiet on the Western Front
after I finished the book I thought to myself "Wow.. that's terrible"
The book was great but the situation was so very tragic.

Just reading / listening to the news *kills* me. The things that people do to one another.
I'm still in a funk because of a story I read a few days ago about a murder in Northern Ireland.

an aquaintance of mine's husband just committed suicide yesterday. he leaves behind 2 daughters and a wife who loved him dearly and did it right before christmas. pretty effin sad

I had read some stories online from parents whose children died of SIDS. Every one of them made my eyes well up.
