Does anyone know a website where you can get the IP address of another internet site. Like the IP to myspace or slacker. Or if you know what they are that would be nice. Thanks.

IP addresses for the most part are not private and ANY web site you can reach HAS its IP available on the public side of thier site.
It's not a secret. To get it, try Yahoo first.
In the command line, type ping yahoo.com
it will return the IP for you.
TO get there go to START, RUN, CMD, the type in the ping command.
Even if the request "times out" the IP address is already given in the command line, since it is the ONLY way the computer can "find" the site.

Use the whois feature and you can get the IP address info you are looking for. TX

update ========================

All public IP addresses have a record of who, what, and where. It is similiar to a public record of a businesses tax ID's.

Start> Run> Cmd.

Type in: ping myspace.com

Keep in mind some addresses won't allow pinging, so you'll come back with "request timed out" in the 4 packets.

Just open a command prompt and type ping myspace.com. It will show you the IP address.

OK, i'm not trying to get offensive, but you have no business in their IP addreses. How do we know you're not a hacker trying to put down some of the most widely used sites on earth? Their IP addresses are kind of ... personal stuff, nothing you need to be concerned about.
