I know the general range, but I want to get a nice one. I'm looking at them online right now, just to get a gist. About how much should I spend to 'do it right' so to speak?

Mens wearhouse you can get a really nice suit for around $200 thats pretty respectable.

You can get a good custom fitted suit at Men's Warehouse for under $200. Be careful, they will sell you the suit for a good price, but then the very hot sales girl will pressure you to get a couple $60 shirts and $30 ties and a belt or braces or shoes etc.. to go with it.

I would say any suit that is over $300 for just the pants and jacket would be considered nice, I like to shop at Steinmart, you can get some nice suits for cheaper than that. It just depends if you just want to look nice or the name brand of the suit is important to you. Good Luck

depends on material and name anywhere between 600 to 2000 if its custom fitted at least 2000
