I agree with you that some of these Cowboy fans are ridiculous for thinking that Romo's dating Jessica that he played bad. He just had an off day, and couldn't hit a receiver to save his life. And the thumb isn't a good excuse either. He didn't hurt his thumb until the 3rd quarter! It was just a poorly played game by Dallas' offense. Their D held up, but they just kept trying to throw too much, and forgot about their running game! Yes, Philly came into Dallas and won 10-6. However, does anyone remember week 9 when Dallas went in to Philly and DESTROYED the Eagles 38-17????!!! This is simply just a bump in Dallas' road to the Superbowl. Also, if anything this helped them realize they have to play perfect every down if they want to win the trophy!
If anything, thanks Philly for giving us the gut check we needed!! See you next year as you wont be joining us in the playoffs this year.

I think Jessica Simpson is being used as the scapegoat to this loss. From what I saw, Dallas' entire offense played like crap, Romo and the receivers' timing was way off. The offensive line allowed Romo to be sacked a season high of 4 times, and the stakes of winning this game were low since they already clinched a first round bye and couldn't lock up homefield advantage with a win this week. Hopefully this game woke them up. there's a reason Division rivals play eachother twice, and there's a reason there's 16 games in the season. That wasn't a make or break game. They'll be fine on Saturday against Carolina.

I know the thumb was an issue and have mentioned it in any Cowboy post today... I'm not a Cowboy fan but I know what I saw.
The ball was not spiraling out and was off target most of the day. Romo was having his thumb worked on every time he came to the sideline.
I think the Eagles were lucky to get that win. They did not play well until the very end. Had the Cowboys been just slightly better on offense they would have won. I really think they should have put Johnson in for Romo. His thumb really was not doig it for them.

nope. jessica simpson had no effect on the game. eagles match up well with the cowboys and confused romo with blitzes and coverages. their defensive coordinator had a great game plan.
then dallas had some injuries and romo had a bad day. it happens and although it was a dissapointing loss, no biggie at this time. now if they come out flat again next week, we have some issues, jessica or no jessica.
i'll put it this way. if you had told me at the first of the year we would be 12 and 2 with losses to the pats and eagles, i would have said, i'll take that. heck yeah!
and one more thing. jessica simpson was at the green bay game too. ok? so get off the JS-BS. it's simply not a factor. PERIOD.

"Fact is the Eagles went into their house and beat them"
10-6 is a win...but not really anything to gloat about. Neither team's offense was all that impressive.
"Do you fans really think your savior quarteback really played bad because Daisy Duke was in the stands."
Perhaps....but Tony started to show some signs of exhaustion last week during the Detroit game.

no but sportscasters (who started the whole thing) and sportswriters like to make up hyperbole so they have more things to write about. the offensive line couldnt run block at all or pass block very well, the rb's didnt run hard, the coaches abandoned the run which made it easier to stop the pass, owens dropped 2 passes, 2 others were dropped, and romo kept trying to force passes to owens when the play was not there to be made. that was an all around stinker by a team (offense, defense did ok) that wasnt focused.

Im a cowboys fan they lost yesterday cause they playd bad. not because Jessica was there or cause they got injured. they just playd bad. Tony had a bad game, that doesnt mean he is a choker he just had a bad game. the eagles playd well enough to beat us and they did. The offense of the cowboys was horrible and they didnt deserve to win. hopefully this is a wake up call and they realize they havent won nothing, and they wont if they play like that.

No, he had a bad game, I am sure the hand injury contributed, but the biggest thing was that game was controlled by both defenses,, unfortunately for the Cowboys the Eagles D controlled a little bettter...
Cowboys will be playing in January and Eagles wont.... that is what counts.
