Are we teaching our kids that Kookaburra's are really just a bunch of poofs, sitting in trees, laughing all day?

I think there are a lot more pressing issues that need to be changed rather than a kookaburra song....

I never heard of this song, must be an Aussie jest on us enlightened folks here in the good ol US of A.

I haven't heard that song in 15 years. Now I can't get it out of my head!
I lived through the 90's in America, people were all poofs.

No, actually the word gay means happy. In the U.S. they had an era called "the Gay Nineties". It didn't mean everyone was a poof.
