If you had home field locked up but still had one loss then without a doubt you rest the starters. Maybe only play them in the first half of games just to keep them loose.

But when you are 14-0, you go for the record....

We (the Patriot fans) would be terribly upset if Belichick sits the starters for the next two weeks and blows a chance at history.

You don't play to not lose, or to avoid injuries; you play to win...period

Anything less is unacceptable.

You absolutely have to play your starters. Though they have everything clinched you do not want your players getting rusty and coming out flat in the playoffs. I say you play the starters for at least the first quarter if not the first half. The Pats are pefectionists though so it is possible they will continue pursuing that perfect season. I mean how many times do you get to this point in the season with a perfect record and a chance to become only the second team in history to be undefeated? I say you have to rest your starters but keep them sharp because the ultimate goal is the super bowl.

If your ultimate goal is truly to win the Super Bowl, I would rest the starters but even though I'm not a Patriots fan, I would like to see them go undefeated. I suspect that they will try to do both!!! Moss and Brady deserve a chance at the record books having put up all those numbers all year. It would be a travesty if they didn't achieve this just because they were being "rested" for the playoff run.

No. The gamers have as plenty to assert approximately their playing in those circumstances as invoice Belichick does. he will not tension them to play in the event that they don't % to. they % the sixteen-0 as plenty as a results of fact the coach needs it. they're striving for perfection.

Rest their starters. At this point most of them are banged up after 4 months.

It's what Shanahan did in 1998 after starting 13-0 and then they lost against the Giants and the Dolphins.

Win, lose or draw, you always play your starters. They are being paid good money to play. And play they shall. And you take it one game at a time.

Play them there not paid to sit on their @sses they are paid to play. and that is what they will do. now if they are winning by 45 points or more sit them then if they go down in points put them back in. PLAY TO WIN!!!!!!

They will get to 16-0 even if they rest people sporadically but the question is will he give Brady and moss a chance at their records.

i would start them because they already have a first round bye....plus, perfect seasons dont happen commonly. They are very rare, but when the opportunity comes to have one, the pats should go for it...
