The nearest book I can find is my cousins book called, The river by Gary Paulsen, and page 62 line five says: Like now. It is actually pretty funny. I'll give the line that came before it since this is so little.
Line 4, page 62: They used her name as the call sign and Derek had shown Brian how to use the radio, the correct procedure in case of an emergency.
