This is one way Bush could extend his war.

Normally I don't answer stupid, full of lie questions like this. But if this is what you believe, I'm here to tell you you need serious mental help.

Now where do you have absolute proof that conservatives want this?

Historically conservatives have ALWAYS STRONGLY supported any and all military personnel. Unlike your liberal leaders of the nineties who shall remain nameless.

I've read that article, and no where does it mention conservatives. I've also read where this was a bad decision made by a pentagon official and was immediately withdrawn upon being found out by our CONSERVATIVE leaders.

You libs will do and say anything even if it's an outright lie to get what you want won't you?

You must support Hillary.

First, there is no evidence that "conservatives" are doing this, unless the VA is a conservative. Second, if it is a clerical error, as was mentioned in another post, it needs to be fixed ASAP.
If this is happening, how about we quit throwing accusations as to who we THINK is responsible and find out FOR SURE what's going on and fix the problem.

Why are you trying to lay this off on the conservatives? Some government bean counter is responsible for this debacle. And to be fair to the misguided soul that made the mistake, it was only a small portion of the sign on bonus. At last repot, that has been retracted. Credit where credit is due.

I question your assertion that it's specifically conservatives that want that, or even that it has the slightest thing to do with party affiliation. I'm a conservative and want nothing of the sort. I personally hope it is a terrible oversight that will soon be fixed.

Plus, it only affects those that are discharged from the military, not those who are wounded. Stop trying to be so polarizing, Hillary.

Conservatives do not want that. There have been reports of errors made by the VA, where they did request the return of bonuses from injured vets. But everyone who has claimed this has happened, also reports that once they made the mistake known to the VA, the request was dropped. So, it looks like a clerical error, not some sort of crappy conservative plot.

i understand, i'm no longer answering the question. I in basic terms had to remark on Crystal's enter. Holy crap woman, you do no longer understand a concern with regard to the protection rigidity!! in case you knew something, then you definately'll understand that VA advantages are no longer basically surpassed to you. it fairly is complicated as a mom to get extra advantageous than a ten% and that doesn't conceal jack. i've got ordinary Marines who've lost a finger, had component of their leg amputated, and the VA did no longer supply them extra advantageous than 5-10%. they do no longer desire to furnish them anymore than that to maintain expenses down and there is not any longer jack approximately that for the duration of a damn settlement so save residing on your little protecting bubble, watching CNN and thinking that makes you knowledgeable with regard to the protection rigidity.

I'd like a link as well. Anyone who supported taking signing bonuses back would not be a true conservative, as conservatives have a strong support for the military.

Some mullet at the Pentagon was responsible for this (though I had only learned of a single instance) and was roundly criticized for doing so.

Conservatives do not wish for this but it's made liberals giddy
