why did they let rhydian go through all the auditions , boot camp and live shows , when all they were looking for was a pop star wouldn't it had been fairer to not let him through at all ?, and another thing , he was never in the bottom two so the public were voting for him on previous shows , it doesn't add up ,

I don't know the answer to your question Bex, or any other q about the show -- who knows for sure - what i do know is I'm disappointed and sad that some here grudge the young guy a number 1 chart place at Christmas. He's now got the opportunity to change his and his families life forever - and some ppl are intent on bringing his dream to an end a day after it's begun. If the votes were fixed, it's wrong - but give the lad a break...

I don't think we will ever know what happened Bex but we just have to believe in and support Rhydian if he brings out a single or an album. As to Leon - he will fade into oblivion, he is a 5 minute wonder and Rhydian will be the real winner because he is going to be around for a very long time. xx

Some people pick a favourite and vote for them until they are eliminated. Some people pick a new favourite if one is eliminated. Some people vote purely on the performances on the night and some vote tactically whatever the performance was like, convinced their act has better things to come.
However the votes break down it seems entirley fair. In a 3 way contest there is every likelyhood the winner has well under half the total votes cast. Anything above 33% could be enough in a very close vote.

If they only had 'Pop' stars they wouldn't get the viewing figs. nor so much voting income. If Rhydian hadn't got so far his chances of a stage musical career would not be there in the way they are now.

Oh, they expected him to win. That final song was clearly chosen
for him.With Leon singing the song it sounded very boring but
Rhydian brought it alive.And imagine if same difference had won
they could never have sung that. Also Sharon was on the Norton
show b4 saying of course Rhydian would win.

Bex you know what I think of the situation and to be honest they have made their bed they can now lie in it with Leon.
Vote Sugar Babes for christmas number one it is far better lol
Front page voting scam I only got through once so why was it so hard to get through unyet Leon's line was not um!!!!!!

Okay..firstly I'm not a Rhydian fan..but yes..he had the better voice of the two. I've read that people have complained because they couldn't get through to vote for The Ridster..like you said, he was never in the bottom two. Maybe we will hear of problems with phone votes in the future.
Also..Leon won because of Kylie..people voted for her. Thats my thought anyway.

All these people want is MONEY!! they put a brilliant singer through because they knew people would ring in spending their hard earned cash and the producers of the show would make MILLIONS from him!!!!
