While I'm not adversed to believing that there are things in this world that we do not know, and also that some "mythical" creatures have a basis in reality, I'm not quite convinced on the mermaid thing.

It is a Merfolk, They live in bodys of water and can stay under for a long time.
If you kiss one then it will develop leggs and be allowed to walk like a man for 24 hours.
They sing quite well and have been known to lure ships onto rocks and reefs as the music is quite luring to humans...

yes in a coutry called tanzania( thats in africa). i dont think they are they types of mermaids you know of coz these ones have a connection to vodoo and witchcraft. they are half human and half fish. they are apparentlyn from the underworld
