Just started doing this just a few days ago. For me I find that I tend to answer questions that either, intrigue me, fall within my area of interest or are about things I am familiar with. I am a big fan of the idea of passing information and gathering information. Older people have so much to contribute to the young, IF they are smart enough to ask. I personally am somewhere in the middle of these two groups, so I ask older people questions, and try to answer those from some who are younger.

I do find it interesting, after only doing this for a few days, that in these information saavy days, most of the questions I have been seeing could be answered by making a good online search. Not sure if it is just people being lazy, or if they can't figure out how to filter their questions to not get ten million hits on their enquiries. One of the most important ideas that schools still seem to not teach is a simple rule. It is not important to memorize everything, more important is to learn WHERE to find the imformation you need.

Enough soapbox, this what you were looking for?

Being a medical doctor my joy in life is helping people. I have a really great interest in "security", related to computers. (Not just because I am required by law to keep my pc 100% clean at all times).

Computers were designed to bring the world closer together and obtain a wealth of knowledge fast.

Instead the WWW has to a great degree taken over by criminals and child molesters.

I hope that with my answer to security questions, I can do my part to help the person experience "safe surfing", and all their data stays secure in their pc.
